Our annual offshore fishing tournament is organized by the Martin County Firefighters Benevolent Association. This is a charity event that aims to raise funds to support firefighters and their families in times of need. The tournament is typically held in the waters off the coast of Martin County and attracts anglers from all over who come to compete for cash prizes and trophies. Participants are required to pay an entry fee, which goes towards the fundraising efforts of the Benevolent Association. The tournament is a fun and exciting way to bring together members of the community to support a worthy cause. In addition to the fishing competition, the event may also include a raffle, silent auction, and other activities to raise additional funds. The proceeds from the tournament are used to provide financial assistance, scholarships, counselling services, and other forms of support to firefighters and their families during emergencies. The offshore fishing tournament is a great way for the Martin County Firefighters Benevolent Association to give back to the community while also promoting the importance of safety and preparedness in the marine environment Please check below on putting in your boat registration, sponsorship opportunities and more.
As we prepare for the 2025 annual fishing tournament be sure to check in with our social media or check our website frequently for updates regarding the tournament. The tournament has grown each year since the first one in 2022, and each year our goal is to host a tournament that has improved from the previous one. We greatly appreciate your feedback and support on this event and welcome any comments, questions or concerns. This event would not be possible without the generosity of the community. Whether you want to donate, sponsor or volunteer we appreciate your assistance. The community's support is what helps drive these events to the next level. With some amazing help and an incredible venue to host our very own fishing tournament, 2022 MCFBA Fishing tournament was a hit with over 30+ boats registered, 120 anglers, 8 vendors, multiple local sponsorships and many more. Please enjoy some of the fishing tournament pictures. This event not only raised money for our benevolent, but also had multiple retirees boats sponsored to fish in the tournament.
